Hello! New owner to Cayman 987.2 base - 2011 and i need help with PCM . I simply cant connect my phone to my PCM - i have the AUX / USB / Ipod connectors in the arm rest. I know, you need CD/DVD in the player to be able to switch to AUX - I have CD in the player, it plays the CD but there is not way to swap between CD and AUX... The option in CD screen simply wont let me swap between the input - anyone has any idea? Phone is connected via AUX, even tried via USB but simply nothing.. All i want is to be able to play music from phone via AUX without upgrading to Android Auto unit or kit

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

HELLOOOO Simon! Welcome to Planet-9, the Friendly Porsche Forum.. I'm moving this post over to the 987 tech section, where it might get a bit more attention. Also - the model of your PCM may differ from the ones common in the USA - can you provide a picture of it? And when you have a chance, please come back to the New Member Intro Forum and post up a bit about yourself, and perhaps a picture or two of your Porsche.
Hello, Thank you for your attention - here is the picture of my PCM and the screen i see when i insert DVD and press option - i simply cant choose between different inputs and the only option there is greyd out.
Maybe the AUX option was deselected somehow in the car's computer. You might try to see if it can be restored with a Durametric or Foxwell diagnostic tool.
Maybe your Universal Audio Interface is deactivated in your PCM . So you need to unlock it again with correct FEC in PIWIS . Do you have PIWIS at hand? If so, I can help you.
