Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

In the continued quest for more power this looks like the next logical move to extract a little more power from my 996 C2. Does anyone have any experience of this product or any similar product ? Is this going to give me the best bang for my buck ? Any help appreciated.

POST 3Original post

G. Mackie, just be careful, many of these aftermarket intakes sound better but can actually loose you power, particularly the "open" to engine cone design's, as the car then ingests hot air directly from a hot engine !!! I have read this in several reports & it was mentioned again by JZ Machtec in the latest 911 world !!

How about the Gruppe M "ram charger" intake? I don't know of anyone using one yet (£££££!), but at least ALL the air is from the outside the engine bay. See http://www.gruppemeurope.com/
