Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

8 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

After a wonderful journey of modding, driving and having a lot of fun with my 986s it was time to let the car go on to someone new. I must say, the 986 is THE car... And this forum has been a great place for help and fun discussions, thanks all! The actual reason was that I had the opportunity to get this bad boy from 1977, it looks fine but is far from perfect so I will now spend my time restoring and maybe some invisible mods to make it work properly on the track.

Wow, very nice catch!!! Congratulatons! What would be a nice track(s) in Sweden besides Gotlandring that I already know of?

Thanks! Of course the tracks are a matter of taste. My favourit in Sweden is Kinnekulle, it's quite hilly and twisty, perfect for a Boxster. Other tracks that we use in the Porsche club are: Knutstorp Gelleråsen Mantorp Mittsverigebanan Fällfors Great fun, now I really must get this oldie ready for track. Unfortunately the forums for 930 are not nearly as active as 986forum.

I love my Boxster, but if I had a chance to move to a 930, I would do it in a heartbeat. Congrats, looks like a beauty!

Great, thank you Robert and have fun with your new car! P.S. If you have not visited yet, take a trip to Estonia, Pärnu Porsche Ring. It is a very nice track.
