I just bought my first Porsche - it's a 2000 Porsche 911. It's a decent car, I've only had it for 3 weeks and am slowly repairing and fixing things wrong with it. Lately I noticed that when I close the front hood gently by pushing on the part below the Porsche emblem it gives out this "creaking" noise from under the front of the car. So I push from above on the right fender and then from the left front fender and the creaking sound is there. I can also hear it while driving the car at slow speeds. What could be the sources of the noise? Thanks in advance for your help!

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
