Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hello All Looking to get an aftermarket exhaust system for my 997 Turbo. Wondering if anyone had any recommendations for places to go in Sydney (either fit only if they will let me buy online from the USA, or supply and fit). Ive already spoken to one or two places who seem to be most helpful, but also wondering if anyone here had any recommendations. If its of any relevance at all, I quite fancy the Cargraphic exhaust with valves, but this isn't set in stone. Any advice/input much appreciated. Thank you JKay

Give Autohaus a go. Decent guys, and they'll offer good advice. Autohaus

POST 4Original post

Jkay I do not want to be negative but I really did not have a good experience dealing directly with Cargraphic. I had purchased their high lift kit for a 996. After much polite but escalating requests they eventually abandoned me. I burnt the cost of the kit and freight here plus the freight back to them. I returned everything in the process so I am completely out of pocket. If the exhaust has good reviews from a number of people and no negative experiences in the other forums you should have more comfort dealing with them. I will not. By the way I had a phenomenal exhaust from Capristo on my R32. Valves, remote control and the most beautiful sound.I see they make them for some 997s. Good luck.

@Jkay you can try Best Exhaust for supply (they are in Canberra) I used them to supply my 996 mufflers and tips. They are also a PFA trade supplier, therefore there might/should be some discount for you Good luck

Hey GT3, Ouch sorry to hear you had to go through this, and that's very good to know. I've actually been looking at Capristo too and really like the idea of some of their products. Your comment above will certainly be taken into account when I make the final decision. PKay thanks. I have had a look at their website and they have a good selection there. ?? I love my 997 Turbo, I just feel it needs a bit more "sound" Jkay
