Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Anyone here have experience with the Power Friction clutch for 996 that is sold by **********? Basically looks like it eliminates the rubber center, but they claim it is a more robust friction material. Any thoughts here are appreciated. Thanks

POST 2Original post

If it has a dual-mass flywheel would it need the rubber center? The one I'm replacing in my '99 C4 has a spider type center. and not much friction material at all :-( If it was not replaced when the engineab was done at 22,000 miles it has 101,000 on it. I'm going to try parts from LUK.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
