Having Problem with the windows "timing" .... When I touch the door handle to open the door ,the window properly lowers itself 1/2" to allow it to retract and clear the channel in the Cab Top...A Okay But when I go to shut the door, again the window properly retracts 1/2" upon touching the door handle, but immediately goes into full height position as soon as I release my hand off the Handle while in process of shutting the door closed.... The problem is that the switch/sensor/mechanism etc... is responding within a " Nano Second" and the window is at full height position before it hits the Target... So the door will close, but the window glass is not nested into the receiving channel in the top...and completely resting outside and against the Cabrio Top Can anyone give me some advise before I go to Porsche...and start spending$$$ for them to Diagnose the problem and corrective action Thanks Charles Glade

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I wonder if a second door open sensor is not keeping the window down until it re-closes. i remember a good post over on RennTech.org that listed the switched and logic to test.
