Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Quick question - I ordered some tires while I was driving my car home from CA to MN. Now that I've had some time to think about it, I figured I should ask. 225/40/18's for the front 295/30/18's for the rear I completely forgot that this car is AWD & you're supposed to keep tire circumference within a certain %. Are these tire sizes going to be okay?

POST 2Original post

Those are stock sizes for 996 widebody cars (C4S/Turbo) they will work with your AWD system.

POST 3Original post

Actually the stock size is 225/40 18 & 265/35 18 for the C4 (2001). I've been fighting the tire thing now for a week as I'm going to 19's and finely (hopefully) figured it out :P)
