Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Just back from two weeks in the States - skiing in Utah, and then hanging out in New York. Thought that I would keep a tally of the Porsches I saw: 911s - all types - 0 Boxsters - 1 Cayennes - about a million. Like it or not, Porsche do understand the demographics. Spizz

POST 2 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Indeed. I was in LA about 2 months ago, and can report something similar. Around Beverley Hills I saw a couple of 996 turbos, a 993 turbo, a C4S and two 991s. There were 2 Boxsters I think. But there were many (several dozen) Cayennes, although I only saw 2 Cayenne Turbos, so performance seems not to be the issue, merely size, presence and the badge. (I also saw a 550 Maranello and Diablo, as well as a streeeeeetched Hummer, that had about 12-15 feet added in the middle)
