Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi All Carlos was kind enough to point me in the right direction for a CD Removal Tool however the place I purchased it from has sent me another kind of tool which is much longer and thinner and does not have holes. http://www.soundlabsgroup.com.au/p/Becker-Removal-Keys2/Becker+Radio+Removal+Keys+MkII Will this one work on a Boxster 2001 to remove my CD player? I tried it but they seem to just slip right through and not grab onto anything. Any feedback welcome. This is the tool Carlos recommended and the one I ordered! http://www.soundlabsgroup.com.au/p/Becker-Removal-Keys/Becker+Radio+Removal+Keys

POST 2Original post

don't think those will work. As you're finding, they are too skinny to grab the clips that hold the radio in place. They must have sent you the wrong ones. You might try going to a local stereo shop and see if you cna just borrow their's for a minute.

I have the ones in your first link and could not get them to work. I also have the ones in your second link and they work.
