Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Anyone know how to take apart the instrument panel ? any help would be greatly appreciated.

POST 2Original post

This'll help you get the dash pod out. From there, you should be able to get behind the pod to locate the bulb that you'll need to order and replace. Hope this helps. http://boxsters.addr.com/hacks/cluster.htm

Speaking of the panel, is there anyone that sells blue replacement LCDs? The amber is not that attractive to me.

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Exactly what I was looking for! It seems like it would be a very involved process to do this. Has anyone posted a DIY on this? Also, has anyone seen a blue vs white comparison? Does one do better in sunlight than the other?

Goto Porscheleds.com....I have them in and they are awesome..and the company is great...the dash install is a breeze but the AC unit...you should send it to them and they do a top notch job. AZ..they are both bright and come down to preference..
