Hi all, I recently bought a 996 type three spoke all leather steering wheel and it has a gold SC stamping in the back of the vertical spoke. The logo appears on the airbag frame as well. Obviously its the manufacturer, and I was wondering if someone can shed more light on this its worth mentioning that unlike most wheels I have seen and owned, this one is covered 100% in leather, that is not only the wheel rim and airbag cover but also the entire base (which is usually spared of leather and instead is finished in vinyl/fake leather texture. Cheers!!

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Super carrera or some guys initial

Super Carrera or SC The was the 911 designation between 1978-83 IIRC so this being a 996 wheel it is unlikely. If this is Steve Carpenters wheel, hey Steve, beautiful job! LOL its pretty obvious that is a company logo. I just would like to know which company and if the wheel was a special order, or came in a special car, or whatever. Its just fun to find out these facts. I have googled to no avail.
