Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

15 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I can hardly believe my eyes, there’s a 996 C4S with ~45k miles and massive restoration for Sale at Bramley Motors. I’m struggling to fathom who would pay £70k for a 996 (non GT car). It’s a stunning car, but….I don’t know what to think.

POST 2Original post

unless you see the actual details, of the restoration, the assumption is unknown, just spending money is not a restoration i'll pass https://www.bramley.com/blobs/stock...13ed0b5aad5/untitled-24-of-24.jpg?bgcolor=fff https://www.bramley.com/blobs/stock...3b0ee422c6a/untitled-19-of-24.jpg?bgcolor=fff https://www.bramley.com/blobs/stock...842c615819d7/untitled-9-of-24.jpg?bgcolor=fff https://www.bramley.com/blobs/stock...c4edf375ed4/untitled-11-of-24.jpg?bgcolor=fff https://www.bramley.com/blobs/stock...6a3a874f679/untitled-13-of-24.jpg?bgcolor=fff https://www.bramley.com/blobs/stock...18e63dc6d1d/untitled-15-of-24.jpg?bgcolor=fff https://www.bramley.com/blobs/stock...c02d64a0167/untitled-16-of-24.jpg?bgcolor=fff https://www.bramley.com/blobs/stock...10615e98847/untitled-12-of-24.jpg?bgcolor=fff https://www.bramley.com/blobs/stock...474b6bdfede/untitled-10-of-24.jpg?bgcolor=fff https://www.bramley.com/blobs/stock...da8c84f4bb0/untitled-14-of-24.jpg?bgcolor=fff https://www.bramley.com/blobs/stock...b76be3c1f9f/untitled-23-of-24.jpg?bgcolor=fff https://www.bramley.com/blobs/stock...f3e5719f12f/untitled-17-of-24.jpg?bgcolor=fff https://www.bramley.com/blobs/stock...edb98699a2e/untitled-22-of-24.jpg?bgcolor=fff https://www.bramley.com/blobs/stock...c86568cb51e/untitled-18-of-24.jpg?bgcolor=fff https://www.bramley.com/blobs/stock...35341fe6436/untitled-20-of-24.jpg?bgcolor=fff https://www.bramley.com/blobs/stock...903eaab8ac5/untitled-21-of-24.jpg?bgcolor=fff https://www.bramley.com/blobs/stock...2b89ca187ddf/untitled-1-of-24.jpg?bgcolor=fff https://www.bramley.com/blobs/stock...4c0702497ffc/untitled-2-of-24.jpg?bgcolor=fff https://www.bramley.com/blobs/stock...c120ca51f864/untitled-5-of-24.jpg?bgcolor=fff https://www.bramley.com/blobs/stock...b73826ce188b/untitled-6-of-24.jpg?bgcolor=fff https://www.bramley.com/blobs/stock...70a073462022/untitled-8-of-24.jpg?bgcolor=fff https://www.bramley.com/blobs/stock...81a182ab54e2/untitled-7-of-24.jpg?bgcolor=fff https://www.bramley.com/blobs/stock...fb896050c74b/untitled-4-of-24.jpg?bgcolor=fff https://www.bramley.com/blobs/stock...42eafb3b8ed5/untitled-3-of-24.jpg?bgcolor=fff

POST 3Original post

Lovely car but the rear wiper knocks 30K off the price

POST 5Original post

Gorgeous but I was expecting a Savannah interior with the green It must have had a heap of cash spent on it to warrant £70k Having said that , same money as a good 3.2 Carrera!

POST 6Original post

Never seen a cheap car at Bramley, but who knows, someone might fall in love.

POST 7Original post

They're having a laugh it's way down the list for anyone with a budget of 70k. You can go and buy a nice one for half that and still have money for 2 Hartech rebuilds.

POST 8Original post

It depends what’s been done I suppose I saw a white one recently somewhere with 5k miles at a similar price..can’t remember where though

POST 9 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Probably my main concern is that you’re unlikely to ever see a lot of that money ever again (as could be said for lots of dealership purchases). I reckon it probably can be worth the £70k based on the work that’s been done to it, but if you buy it you might only ever get half of that money back (picking a number out of the air). It’s not like a 996 has become the latest Porsche collectors icon (though I do love them). The other good point are the £70k alternatives……. I live very nearby so I might go take a closer look at the 996.

I may send mine down to Bramley's for a part ex price!

POST 11Original post

Car does look great but sadly not £70k great. As mentioned it all depends on what the money has actually been spent on. Give me a GT2/3 or turbo purely for performance

POST 12Original post

There can’t be many out there in forest green ? Ive never seen one, Looks beautiful I can’t see for a moment it’s worth that money though, I suppose at that mileage it’s an investment car but are people investing in these yet? look at what else you can buy for that money
