Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Evening, I need to put new pads all-round on the X51 and will probably put braided hoses. Anybody have $0.02 on the OEM pads versus another option - PagidRS, Bosch, Tekstar, Mintex....? Al.

POST 2Original post

Be careful with braided lines being ADR compliant no insurance otherwise

Pagid RS 29 AL. Just put a set on the Coxster S - same brakes - and the brakes feel absolutely, twice as good as stock and that's just in general driving. Also put in Castrol SRF brake fluid. Haven't tested them properly on a spirited spurt in the hills but judging by some hard general pull ups around town, they'll be great. They can squeal a bit at times though but no biggie.

POST 4Original post

ATE make ceramic pads also for very little extra money.  No dust.

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks - side by side is there anything 'wrong' with the OEM pads, or do they simply not preform as well as a Pagid or Pagid RS?
