Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

9 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I just noticed a small scratch on my 991. 2 carerra leather seat. I've attached some photos of it. Not sure how this happened as the seat has hardly been sat in. Any ideas on what might fix this? Are there any conditioners out there that will remove it? Otherwise can the professionals do something about it?

Won't that discolour it? Are we talking black shoe polish? It'd be hard to find a shoe polish identical to the colour of that seat 😂

POST 4Original post

Do you have the mobile 'Uticolour' business in your state? Been told they're very good at this sorta thing, as they mix n match most interior colours. Might be worth doing a search online for them or a similar company who specialise in trim resto work

POST 5Original post

A mobile leather repairer can touch that up quite well. New life leather repairs are usually quite good - although it's a franchise, the guy I've used is really good. On my phone so I can't see your location!

Leatherique products ,,they do colored fillers and every thing for automotive leather ,,,that is an easy wipe over with cotton bud of the right color dye http://www.leatherique.com/oem-color...s/porsche.html I purchase Leatherique from this Sydney supplier http://www.ppcco.com.au/leatherique.html

I used it on several scuffs. No probs. Black only. try it on an area you will never see. It's a low/no cost try & will not negate others solutions.

POST 8Original post

Great patina in 30 years time.... scratches like that are usually caused by clothing or handbags.  Be vigilant for the buckle-laden offenders

POST 9Original post

Looks like someone's put a (Christmas?) box on the seat. Are they rub marks or is it a little dented? Personally , I would get used to it because there will be more!
