Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I am looking to connect a Porsche 996 (G96.01) transaxle to a 1993 Chevy ZR1 engine. I am looking for suggestions on how to accomplish this. My thinking is a stock pressure plate/clutch with a stock ZR1 flywheel. Of course, I will need an adapter plate between the transaxle nad engine block and also the correct mounting holes in the flywheel. Does Doe anyone know who might supply this type of adapter plate? I have tried Kennedy Engineering, and just about everyone else. (Most told me to contact "Kennedy Engineering") I am looking to put this combination into my GT40
