On the subject of plates, I have just bought two. I bought PIL 2007 for the Aston I didn't buy ( I thought that sumptin with an 007 in it might be nicely naff for an Aston ) and t'other is PIL 2008, which I'm gonna put on my new 996. OK, so they may be c--p plates,but they were both a lot less than £200 each, which was nice !!!!! Steve.

Not bad at all. DVLA has got C11 PWR (Carrera 2 Power) for £399. Still available You only have to start delving and there are some real bargains around, C12RRA (Carrera) is also available at £250. But you are right, some can be a bit OTT/Naff. Si
