Hey all! Picked up a '98 Boxster a few years ago and I've always wondered, but never took the time to find out.. How rare is this color/combo? Hardtop, what seems to be factory wheels just based off the Porsche center caps and Brembo brakes. Previous owner honestly didn't know much about it.. $9,000 5spd 57k miles Ocean Jade Metallic - 60/J3 Anyone know how many were made? Or what they're going for market value? Thanks!
First time I've seen that color. Can't tell what the interior color is. Whatever its rarity it would be worth more stock. I like the mods and the wheels but they are not OEM and the window tint doesn't look stock. Great looking car though.
A 986 is not rare but that color is not very common. I live in the south and I rarely see a hardtop. I have never seen the bottom portion of the headlight (where the turn signal should be) painted black.
Color is a double edged sword. Some will like it, others will hate it. Thinking it will add additional value puts you in the love it camp. And what is with those smoked turn signal covers?
