Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi all, Could someone please post me a pic of the passenger foot well of a 996.2? Trying to figure out where the insulation foam sits, currently mine looks like this: Not sure if its correct though and I'm also missing 2 of the 3 plastic screws. Thanks in advance

POST 2 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Sorted!! Thanks @TwoHeadsTas its mounted as it should be, just missing a few screws. If anyone needs the part numbers: 3 x 1H0819943 (vw part number same for the 997) - Plastic screws 7 x 999 073 169 07 - Glove box retaining screw

POST 3Original post

On first look Dan I thought it may have been missing a plastic cover over the foam, but on investigation apparently not.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
