Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

Dear fellow Porsche fans Today I've noticed an clicking sound from the rear of my 997 c2s when the car is in motion. The sound doesn't seem to be related to the engine rev but rather related to the vehicle speed. Does any of you have similar issue in the past? Or have an idea what the cause might be? Cheers, Vinnie

Cheers, Vinnie You know what, have a look at the little covers for the brake caliper bleed valves, one may have popped off and is 'flicking' on the spokes of the alloys when the wheel turns.

Certainly sounds wheel related. In addition to the above suggestions, look also for any stones trapped between the disc and caliper.
