Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Folks, Yesterday night I was trying to remove the front plastic cover in the trunk on my 997.1 C4S. That front liner I am talking about is the plastic part covering the brake cylinder and cabin air blower, among other things. I got all the screws out and the thing was wiggling out pretty well. There is one piece of black plastic left, right in the middle of that plastic liner, that refuses to come out. It is some sort of hook for bungee cords and I have no clue on how to remove it. It is the last part that prevents me from taking the whole plastic cover away. Does anybody knows how to pry it open? I would hate to break it. Also, how does one remove the GPS DVD unit from that confined space. Mine is mounted vertically next to another piece of machinery that I have not yet identified. Thanks Yves

POST 2 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Ok, I figured it out. You just have to tap it lightly from LEFT to RIGHT. Yves
