Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Is anyone going to this? I have never been and was wondering if it's worth it. At a waterpark resort so seems kind of weird unless you have little kids and its an excuse.

POST 2Original post

This will be my first Parade. It'll be at least 7 years until the event returns to this part of the country, and I'm truly curious to be in a town that's just crawling with Porsches*, including dozens of rarities and hundreds of enthusiasts. PCA have a pretty solid record of finding, um, suitable accomodations for their membership. I'm less put off by the waterpark than by the minimum stay requirements at the HQ hotel, so I booked a room at Mt Airy Resort and Casino, 5 backroad miles away, instead. Look me up when you get there! Mine's the silver one. *Yes, I go to L.A. sometimes; no, I dont think it's quite the same.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Yeah if I go I would only want to spend 1 night Only a 3 hour drive for me

POST 5Original post

Its only 60 miles from my house so Ill probably take a day trip or 2 to check it out https://www.porscheparade.org

POST 6Original post

$250 just to register for the parade? Seems a bit crazy to me.

POST 7Original post

I just came across a piece describing the failures of all the old Pocono lodges. They had pictures of the torn down condition of the lodges I had stayed. My first marriage honeymoon was at Strickland's. I was 25, she was 22. We had a great time at Strickland's, not quite so good in the marriage.

From the clubs, the towns, and the venues perspective it may be a pretty reasonable ante: At the top of summer, were gonna need a huge block of discounted rooms, and all your banquet space some of it for Cars. Well need a thatch of police escorts and route blocks for 10-15 driving events, some competitive. First couple days well be driving onto your golf course, so- hello? Hello?

POST 9Original post

U would think that if they were asking for money and reg that the web site would have a little more then next to nothing for information. I guess it will come with time. i think ill spend my $250 on a hpde track day.

POST 10 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Wonder if you can just show up and look at cars. Not interested in the venue or attending any of the "things"

POST 12Original post

I am not sure what the $250 is for? I may go, it is only 90 miles from my home. Maybe people that are in the one day driving vicinity should route out a path and arrive to together.

POST 13Original post

Id think the regions/chapters would have some sort of group organization (at least the ones within a few hours drive)? Anyway, if I were interested in going, my first contact would be my local chapter👍

Mt. Airy is a good call. Family has a house in Lake Naomi not too far from there.
