My dealer has asked (as of a week ago) for a build they can submit. Anyone else had this happen? There is a new potential colour on the horizon that I'd love to have - might be an option for MY2018 cars: Saffron Yellow Metallic

No word yet on whether Saffron Yellow will be available. No word yet on whether i'll even get a build slot but it looks promising based on being asked to submit a build. I've gone from pessimistic about my chances to cautiously optimistic. I'm glad i waited - you're absolutely right there. Looks to be a cracker of a car by all reports. That yellow though takes it up a notch for me. The want is strong for this one!

Haven't been on the forum in a while. Money was burning a hole in my pocket and I came very very close to buying a 997.2 GT3. Decided to stay away so I wouldn't be tempted again. Anyway as for an update, some people have been allocated cars here supposedly (all PDK from what I've been told). Who knows if that is true but as a result I'm still waiting. The GT2RS announcement greatly helped my cause as 2 blokes ahead of me dropped out. I'm first manual allocation at my dealer supposedly. Saw a GTS in Miami Blue the other day, if anything was going to tempt me away from Yellow that'd be it. Turns out the car I first posted as Saffron Yellow was actually PTS Signal Yellow with some processing done to it. The Saffron Yellow looks very similar to the merc colour used on the AMG GTS; almost looks gold rather than yellow. Will only be available on Turbo and Turbo S models at least for 2018 model cars.

My 27 YO dentist mate ordered one in red. He is on the wait list for the GT2 RS apparently.

I got a mate who is a financial planner and he says hands down the wealthiest guys who don't have a business (I.e. aren't leveraging much more than their own skills) are dentists. At 27 I drove a Vauxhaul Cavalier which thank god was free. That was its only good point.

Add Podiatrists and Audiologists to the money list. Everyone else in health besides specialist doctors caps out at about $300k. Got to work a shed load of hours (unsustainable long term) for that 300 too. Most GPs earn 150 or less.
