Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

12 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1Original post

I was driving and this part fell on my left leg. The car runs very good. I dont know if this is important any help would be appreciated. I would like to include a picture I read all the Posting Photos but I'm not good with computer. Is it possible to post only one photo without dowloading IrfanView.

POST 2Original post

You certainly can try posting one photo. I assume from your phone? Most Android phones have at least a primitive photo editor built in - you can use it to "crop" the image (remove anything not needed to understand what you're showing us) and there may be an option to resize the photo (max horizontal pixels - 1024 is good, let the vertical fall where they may..) Apple phones - mystery to me. No idea what I would do with one (as I've proven to my wife when she wants me to send photos to people..)

POST 3Original post

Another trick I often do to resize to something reasonable is to take a screenshot. So, zoom in to what you want to show (you don't need to crop) and then screenshot. Then post the screenshot. Generally this is a fast way to get a cropped and resized image... This may end up too small, on some phones... but it's a quick trick that you can try.

POST 4Original post

You indicate a difficulty posting a pic. What steps are you taking to perform this? The pic below shows the icons in the reply box one uses to post pic on this forum. Not sure what method you are using to post a pic.

POST 5Original post

Thank you deilenberger and schwinn for the followup. The picture I want to post is on my phone and my laptop. For the Forum I think it is easier for me with the laptop. Another thing I notice is when I post the thread I did'nt see a place to post a photo, where si it?

POST 8Original post

Looks like brake light switch or Cruse control designment switch.

POST 10Original post

Found this in a Porsche workbook manual: Appears that yours is the cruise control cut-off switch. To reinstall, push the switch into the bracket and rotate clockwise 90°.

POST 12Original post

I can see the bracket where to put this switch. Thank you guys for your help. WTFChuck thank you for the picture, it's definately the switch to deactivate the cruise control when you push the clutch in. Great Forum.
