My order is in for my Cayman. Will miss the top down of my current 2004 Boxster S - but just loved the look of the Cayman and had to get one.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
8 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

Thanks for the kind comments, we're here to help everyone through that waiting period and into their brand new Caymans!
Yes, K-man S, nice job. I hope you get strong support. It would be great to have a solid central stopping point for all things Cayman. Mark
Mark, Thanks, please spread the word and encourage Cayman enthusiasts to stop by and participate. Also please feel free to upload articles, links, images, whatever to help keep adding more content and bring people back for more! If we all pitch in we can make it a great club! Thanks,
This is a very good idea since we don't have toconvince/defend/explain why we want to buy a CaymanS rather than a 987 or 997. I think the car is going to be a blast to drive and even better to look at 'in the steel'. I knew when I first saw the animination on Porsche.com that the Cayman is exactly what I had been looking for. Thanks for the time and effort to create a dedicated Cayman board.
Thanks again! Since I'm already a co-author of the ASP based web portal software I figured why the heck not use it to provide a service for Cayman owners as well as to consolidate Cayman information in one place. I like visiting message boards as much as the next guy, but visiting them all to try and follow things related to the Cayman was becominga pain. I also concur with the sentiment that at some other sites the Cayman takes a bashing from Boxster or 911 owners simply because it is different or not what they prefer. No need for that to occur here, and I don't think Cayman owners are going to spend time bashing the Boxster or 911, heck I own a 2005 Boxster S so I'm not going to bash it, it is a great car, I just want a Cayman instead.
Was so glad to find this board!!! Just got the call from dealer to come and order new Cayman so will be going in Monday to order. Have gotten ideas from other topic readings and I can't wait. It will be the first time owning a Porsche and am looking forward to it.
Welcome to the site, please let us know what you decide to order (in the thread on that subject) as well as how the order process goes for you (were any options kicked back, etc.) Thanks,
