Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I cannot find any local source for the correct sized exhaust muffler flanges for a 996 or 997. The closest I can find is a 304 SS 2.25 dia 3 bolt flange by Vibrant Performance. Heres how they fit against a 996 exh header.......... Not shown is the fact the 3 holes are slotted for a "Universal" fitment, requiring washers to keep the bolts from pulling thru. Anyone interested in sharing the cost of having flanges "water jet" cut in the correct dimensions? If I have 25 made out of 1/2in 304 SS they will cost about $10 each. Hi Len I have considered having this done as well but that project is way on the back burner for now. The flange in the picture seems to fit fairly well have you tried a bolt with integral washer from the opposite side?
