Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1Original post

I snapped a few random pics of the car today while it was up on the lift for heart surgery. First the underside of the front spoiler lip showing the 3 plastic rivets that clip the lip on. Next the brake cooling ducts attached to the front suspension, there are GT3 replacement ones that are larger but seem very pricey for what is simply a larger piece of plastic to deflect more air: Here is a shot of the exhaust system from under the car, Stramosphere needs to get busy here ! /fckeditor/editor/images/smiley/MWPX/tounge_smile.gif

POST 2Original post

Nice shots Ken. One thing that has always impressed me about Porsche is all the aluminum and other alloys used to make the suspension, engine girdle, etc. Really nice stuff to look at......my 928 is quite impressive from underneath also......the good things haven't changed.

That's why they continue to charge a premium for their cars, parts & accessories.

POST 4Original post

Ken - Are you referring to those plastic skirts in your second shot as brake cooling ducts? I wasn't sure what those were for. Have you been scraping yours on the pavement at all? While I was driving fairly slowly on some lumpy city roads I could hear them scraping. I've never owned a car that sat so low to the ground and I have to confess it takes some getting used to. There is some plastic up front that scrapes, not sure if it is these pieces or others would have to look.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
