I've recently bought the Buyers Guide for 996 from the internet, I think that Adrianc is responsible for putting it together. Thanks for your effort Adrian, I've read it a number of times now. One question to everyone though, when buying from a specialist (non-OPC) dealer (most likely to be Paragon at this stage), do I need to be as healthily paranoid about acc. damage, clocking or buying an escort in disguise, as I would be buying from a bloke in auto trader???? thanks dw Migration info. Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

Yes you do. If you're spending 40 grand (ish) on a car the 250 quid spent on a PPI is well worth it. Migration info. Legacy thread was 13410
