Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Trying to remove the Porsche branded radio from my 1995 993 dash - anyone know what make the unit actually is, and therefore which type of key is required to remove (it has two slots in the bottom corners)? No sound coming from my front speakers, so want to check out wiring. Thanks. Migration info. Legacy thread was 13484

Thanks - that was a great help. For future reference, the Audi/Merc key does the job as sold at http://www.addacdchanger.co.uk/acatalog/SHOP_Home_Page_Radio_Removal_Keys_441.html But at £12.50 it is a bit expensive - I made my own by cutting off the end (at 45 degrees) of a suitable strip of metal.
