Hi guys! We have a brand new X51 3.4 liter engine available. It is complete as it would come directly from Porsche; intake, exhaust, wiring harness, alternator, starter, etc. This is the 320hp version never brought to States which has different cams, intake, exhaust manifolds, oil pan baffling, and modified cylinder head oiling on 4-6 bank. Contact me with any questions. We also have a NEW 2001 Boxster S motor available. Contact me with any questions you have!

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

What ever happened to the classifieds?
I would post in the classified section but there is not a proper one for the 996/997's. Same for Boxster/Cayman. I try to post where it's most appropriate for the given car model. I'm sure when the volume requires it these sections will open up!
Point well taken, sounds like your motor will sell quickly!

It will only sell quickly if the price is right. Sell it for $15K then NO, it won't sell quickly. Sell it for $10K and well, yes it will sell quickly. Post no price and I get that little sharp pain that says that it won't be a 'steal'. Same as the term 'POA' (Price Upon Application) you see on high end cars ad's in car mag's - you just KNOW they aren't selling anywhere even slightly below the going retail rate or they would have put the freaking price in the ad to begin with... It seems to be really hard to type those extra little numbers with comma's followed by another two zero's I guess.
If you want a price quote simply PM or email me. The price is reasonable compared to even one of Porsche exchange motors. Sorry but there is no reason to "give away" a new X51 motor for the price of an in-house type rebuild that still would not have all of the upgrades this engine has from the beginning.

Unsubstantiated 'opinions' (not yours) on an item generating a quick sale (which is usually predicated on either a low price or rarity of item) means nothing on an open forum unless we have a basis upon which we can judge it by. Please note I was replying to another poster concerning a lack of details so that people can make up their own minds on what constitutes a quick sale concernig what looks to be an 'ad' in a discussion forum. I'm not asking you to 'give away' anything. Is there a reason why there is a post for this item HERE in this forum and not in the 'For Sale' section. Oh wait... I just read the for sale area rules...
torontoworker: You need to get a life! Either buy the motor or get over it.
