Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I am fairly new to the 996 having have several other 911's, 951 and a 968 and have seen a number of posts recently regarding the RMS issue. My car is a 98/R Tiptronic with 92,000 miles and, after a great Track day at Brands on the 27th August, the RMS has developed a significant leak that is actually dripping. Porsche East London said they do not entertain good will claims after 5 years but I have just spoken to Porsche Cars and they said they do not have a 5 year limit [>:] Has anyone had experience of a good will claim on a similar age/milage car? Many thanks, Rob
