Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1Original post

Does anybody know if there are any Aftermarket CD-Changers that work out of the box with the Cayman? THanks. GMorat.

POST 2Original post

I haven't seen one yet, and history says there won't be. I have a '97 Infiniti with a Bose. Bose worked a deal that they will not sell the CD unit after market and no one produced one themselves. To this day the only way to get one for this car is direct from Infiniti. If Bose/Infiniti was able to do this deal on such amass produced car I would imagine they can do it on a Porsche. However, I hope not...I didn't buy one!

Yes there is...Any CD Changer from a Cayman that its owner no longer wants. I assume it would be easy to remove from one Cayman and install in another. I might even want to get rid of mine once I get an iPod interface. (and of course, once I get my Cayman)
