Can you get XM or Sirus in the Cayman? I did a search of the forums, and found nothing. i didn't see anything in the Pcar configurator either. Like others, I do want an IPod interface, but having a clear, commercial free radio is also a good thing. Sorry if this has been discussed. Again, nothing came up with my seach in the archives.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

XM or Sirius is not offered on the Cayman for 2006, maybe next year as the saying goes. I'd like to get Sirius (had it previously and liked it better than the XM we have now in another car) so I figured I'd wait to see if Porsche offers it in 2007 and if so I'll swap the units at a later date and simply do without in the interim.
If you swap the head units, wouldn't you still need antenna? Is the regular radio antenna going to handle the Sirus radio?
Yes, you'd like need a new head unit that would have the input for the Sat Radio tuner, as well as the tuner and the associated wiring. I think the Cayenne has it as an option, but I never checked to see if PCM is required, if PCM is required it becomes a VERY expensive way to add Sat Radio and I'd probably just go aftermarket at that point.
