Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I have an 02 996 w/ power backs. I need to remove the cover over the seat back pivot. It looks like it should simply slide backwards and out but I can't get it to budge. Any ideas?

POST 2 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Pulled the seat. There is a black plastic pin that holds it in place. It is the 2 piece type, with the center that pushes in for tension. You have to pull thge seat as you have to access it from the back.
