Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1Original post

There are many good reasons to not install a non-airbag steering wheel, but I did it anyway. It wasn't quite as straightforward as I anticipated, but I prefer the size, rim shape and grip, gage visibility, and steering feel. My hub wiring harness mods were done so I can swap back easily. 350mm Alcantara Momo Monte Carlo in 2009 987.2 base 6-speed.

POST 3Original post

I had a leather Monte Carlo on my 944, it’s a very nice looking wheel.

POST 4Original post

That looks great, but beyond the scope of my bravery

POST 5Original post

I have the same setup in my 987.2 Cayman . Truly a transformative modification from the stock triangular “shield” steering wheel that is way too large in diameter.
