I’ve been an air cooled guy for awhile but acquired an 04 4S earlier this year. This is my first post on the water cooled side of the forum. Is there a way to reverse the PSE system so that it defaults to quiet mode for start and gets noisy only when the button is selected? I do want to retain the button function rather than just disabling the system to quiet mode. Lots of info on removing the 30-50 mph cutout but not much on what I’m looking for. I do know the quiet mode can be selected prior to start, but I would prefer that quiet was the default. Thanks

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
