Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Sorry, im not too sure on what else to provide do you have any tips?
You can request the current keeper's name and address from the DVLA if you have 'reasonable cause'. This could be a variety of things such as being parked on your land without permission. However, tracking down a previously owned car in order to perhaps repurchase it would not likely constitute a valid reason.
They won't give you anything at all no matter what. I tried with my late bro's VW Beetle.

That might help
Looking at the mot reminder it was due in January 2024 which would be a slight worry that it’s not been used in a very long time and maybe even scrapped
Hi everyone, I’m trying to track down my dad’s old Porsche and thought this would be the best place to ask. It’s a 1998 Porsche 911 Carrera 4 Cabriolet (996), manual, black exterior with silver wheels and a silver rear “911” badge. Current reg: M888DJU Previous regs: S720JLY and S31NDS The car was sold a few years ago and from checks I’ve done it appears to still exist in the UK, currently on SORN and last MOT’d in January 2023 at around 132k miles. It hasn’t been scrapped or exported. It has a lot of sentimental value to my family and I’d genuinely love to know if it’s still around, even if it’s just sitting in storage or undergoing restoration. If anyone recognises the reg, remembers the car, or may have seen it before, I’d massively appreciate any information. Any questions to help find it would be very helpful. Thanks
