Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Morning Does anyone know of a company in the UK that provides a full timing chain kit for the 5 chain 3.4? There is an outfit in the US that does but Id rather have a UK contact. Id prefer not to have to track down each individual item and part number and order individually Richard H...any thoughts on this? Thanks Scott

POST 2Original post

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi Andy Are you referring to the chains only? I've go to track down part nos and pricing for the tensioners, guide rails and consumables as well, hence looking for a kit. There is a company in the US called FP Euro https://youtu.be/JbXL8YdOlZI Everything is included in the refresh

POST 4Original post

If it was me,I'd ring up Renold Ltd at Burton on Trent& ask where there nearest Distributor is near you. Then approach them for a price for genuine Renold fully riveted chains made up -alt an Iwis Distributor or Wipperman Distributor. If you google Iwis Chain you'll get loads of references-personally I'd go for Renold (I worked for them for 15 yrs in every dept even the toolroom)
