Seeking Transmission #7830285 for a 1973 Carrera RS VIN 9113600289 - Reward Offered I am searching for any information on the whereabouts of transmission #7830285, originally part of a 1973 Porsche Carrera RS 9113600289. My father had the car restored by CPR and installed a sporto so he could enjoy it - his left side was paralyzed from a stroke. The transmission was removed during the restoration by CPR Classic, but unfortunately, it was never returned to me as promised and I have received every excuse in the book. An appropriate reward is being offered for any information or assistance that leads to the recovery of transmission 7830285. If you have any leads or have come across this transmission, I would greatly appreciate your help. Please contact me via direct message or at [phone removed] if you have any information. Thank you for your time and assistance.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Sorry to hear that - I'll keep an eye out in my SoCal Porsche network for any news. I recently learned about the whole CPR scandal, so I hope you and your father come out of it relatively unscathed in the near future. I'm not sure who CPR outsources their transmission work to but have you investigated with California Motorsports (transaxle rebuilders), Copans, gbox, etc.? I'm not sure who else is rebuilding transmissions on the West Coast, but most of the shops like DeMan and Sharkwerks all outsource their transmission work to these rebuilders too.
Thank you! Truly means a lot. Unfortunately my father passed away unexpectedly in August so it’s my life’s mission to get this back. It was supposed to be sent to PAG in Germany. Do you have specific contact info for any of those shops mentioned or just call around and ask?
Sorry for your loss - your father was a man of great taste with a '73RS. CMS, Gbox, and Copans all have websites with their phone numbers or emails. If it was allegedly sent to PAG, I'll see if any of my contacts in PMNA or PCNA can reach out to them.
