Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

2025 Carrera - When I use the windshield washers fluid runs down inside and spreads out over the plastic cover area. It does not go in to the deep carpeted bucket area because there is a large rubber gasket that rings the bucket. But it looks like crap when you open the frunk lid and if I try to wipe it up with a damp cloth it becomes very soapy and messy. My 2024 Carrera did not have this issue. Dealer salesman says "it's just the way Porsche designed it. They probably consider anything other than the carpeted bucket to be "outside" area. Anyone else have this issue and I wonder if there's a fix?

POST 2Original post

Of course there’s a fix for it, it may include replacement and not just a gasket. For any Porsche salesman to say that Porsche AG designed the system that way, is an embarrassment to the company.
