Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi guys Still gradually getting my C4s Cab up to scratch. Only had her for just over 3 weeks and I need your help again. The high level 3rd brake light in the spoiler is a mess!! It only had 2 lights working and after taking it apart I realised why!!!. Its obviously been taken apart many times as the clips have all broken. The copper wire inside is green and again the plastic surrounding the pins are in a right mess. So after new bulbs and many attempts to rectify I’ve decided to get a new one!! Has anyone had the same problem and where is the best place to buy a replacement?? Simon

POST 2Original post

Hi Simon, yes i had this problem many years ago ( advisory after an 111 point check at OPC) replacement cost circa £125 but upon dismantling the re assembling all worked fine although as you say clips had broken but i managed to secure & it has been fine ever since!!!! Thank you Kasspa I think mine is beyond saving so I think I will go for a new one. But I will try and fix it again before paying out for a replacement
