Asking a question for a friend. He has a 2000 996 Carrera with Porsche Sport Wheels. He has found an excellent deal on new tires for the car. The only question is on the rear wheel fit. The rear wheels are 996 362 140 50 (10Jx18-ET65) The current tire is a 265/35ZR18. The deal is for 285/30ZR18 tires. The seller is reporting that there will be no clearance issues. Before buying he would like to hear from others who don't have an interest in selling tires. Thanks in advance. Jim S.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
