Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

Will Cobalt Blue be avalible for the Cayman S in the US? I'm not sure if it will be specifically for the Cayman, but I do know if it is, it's extra. How much would it be? I'm thinking of this color instead of black /fckeditor/editor/images/smiley/MWPX/omg_smile.gif

POST 2Original post

According to the Order Guide it is available and something like $3000+ extra! Nice color, but not that nice IMHO.

POST 3Original post

The order guide and brouchere are both different things right? I got the brouchere but no ordering guide so I'll just check it out on the site... but yeah I am not really sure anymore if its really worth all that extra money.... only advantage that I would have if I got that color would be the nice looks of it and that I would probably be one of the few Cayman owners who has it /fckeditor/editor/images/smiley/MWPX/shades_smile.gif

A picture of the CaymanS in Cobalt is around. I think the Cobalt with Sand or Stone and some interior trim in exterior color would look great. Cobalt has been around for some time so you can probably find an example to see for yourself before ordering. Porsche's metallic colors are subtle andcomplex (look different in different lighting conditions) so it's really tough to know what you're getting without seeing it in person.

POST 6Original post

I like Cobalt, but like K-man S said......for $3K it's not THAT great. Actually I have seen a Cobalt 997 with the Terracotta interior.....pretty nice, but it is a little on the 'loud' side. Here's the cobalt pix of the Cayman...

POST 7Original post

Will those wheels be an option also? I know it comes with the 996 Carreras, but I wonder if it'll be availible for the Cayman from the factory?

POST 8Original post

Yes check the order guide, those are available, they are the 19' carrera classic style wheels, also pictured and discussed in another wheel thread from earlier this week I believe or late last week.
