Can anyone tell me if a "normal" spare tire was an option on the '03 Carrera, as opposed to the small inflatable spares that most models have? Thanks. Jim

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Not sure about the '03's, but my 2000 has a fully inflated tire mounted on the back wall of the front trunk. It seems to be a normal spare - ie, small and narrow. If you are wondering about a full sized tire/wheel combo, I'd think it wouldn't even fit in there, to be honest.
Scott, Thanks for the reply. I was referring to the tire that you describe, not the "compact spare" that is in other models. Did your car come with an air compressor? Thanks. Jim
No compressor in my car. I haven't looked at the tire really closely, but it is fully inflated and ready to use, if needed. It seems to be a standard skinny, get-you-to-the-tire-store wheel.
