I need some technical assistance. I have a 1985 911 Carrera 3.2L and the LH headlamp has some trapped moisture. What do I need to do to dry it, basically how do I remove the headlamp to access the inside of the H4 h/lights? Any assistance would be most appreciated. Casey Migration info. Legacy thread was 31962

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Remove the screw at the bottom of the metal headlamp trim surround, push the surround upwards to remove it. Then remove the screw that holds the headlamp in place. Migration info. Legacy thread was 31964
