Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

How to remove just the plug? I pushed the plug in as if I was going to light a cigarette and didn't realize it wasn't going to pop out. Now I don't know how to get it out, as that's the only part I need. It looks like someone forgot to put the plug back in after charging the battery.

Self-professed 996 expert here. There are two ways to get the lighter loose. The lower clips (slightly darker color than the chrome shown here are holding the lighter in place and release it when it heats up. You can heat one side with a cigarette lighter, or just push it back with a small screwdriver and it will pop out enough for you to pull it the rest of the way. Hope that helps.
