Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.
0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

Us 996 owners know what we have
Lol, I've been saying this since 2022, finally Hagerty are catching up. There are still too many old sheds knocking about, so prices aren't going to shoot up overnight, but I'm definitely seeing a buzz around 996's from people that would normally only be looking at the higher end markets, people that would normally be buying Singers are asking about 996s and my build is getting a lot of attention.
they keeping talking it up, it must of been on the list for about 5 years ..
I read it too. But most of us knew. We knew when even on the days you don’t drive them, you walk past, give them a gentle pat or smile. We knew on the days you do drive them when you lock them and can’t help look back. There are still a lot of scruffy ones flying about and perhaps too many were really made to see prices fly like the 964 or 993, which shouldn’t be what they’re compared to. A 997, 991.1 are what they should be compared to and on that basis I think a well-sorted and cared for 996 more than holds its own.
