Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Not had this on the 911, but have had similar on our daily driver, turned out it was the carpet fouling the pedal, don't know if that is something to look at?
Difficult to say, but it could be the assister spring. Item 9. They can be problematic - often causing clicking or squeaking noises.
Like Nick above if I haven't put the carpet back properly the pedal catches on it and sticks momentarily!
