Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Car has developed a rattle/squeak and found it to be form the lower left corner of the dash by the diagnostics port. I tried in earnest to find any type of screw that could tighen it up but can't see or feel one. From reading others about dash issues, it sounds like to get in there, I have to remove a lot of it - but want to confirm before I go down that rabbit hole of time... See / hear in video: You Tube

POST 2Original post

IIRTC there’s are two screws at the lower left corner of the dash and one on the right side of the diagnostic port. You may have to remove the carpet surrounding the fuse panel to access them.
