Just out of interest, who gets a clatter / rattle from underneath the car when they switch off their 993? Engine has to be hot, and if you dip the clutch prior to switching off the clatter/rattle is not present. Just interested to hear from others, mine does and always has done. Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

The only thing I can think of is your dual mass flywheel starting to give trouble. However, I don't know if your dipping the clutch stopping the noise would suggest that this may not be the problem. Migration info. Legacy thread was 44079
